NOSTALGIC
ROM / COM
70’s Oz Music

This rom/com movie particularly focuses on the lives of women in the Australian Music Industry in the 1970’s.

But love falls apart for Julia when her love needs to move to the city to further his career and Julia is left behind.

Mishaps and musical disasters follow Julia around but she has a dream too. She moves to the city where a turn of events blindsides the Australian Music Industry.

WHY THIS MOVIE IS DIFFERENT

This movie has been written exclusively to support 1970’s Australian musicians and their families

Through enlisting and paying each willing family member as extras in the scenes especially set aside as

  • Wedding guests, Church congregations (1 funeral, 2 weddings), Theatre goers, Restaurant guests (surprise birthday party), Music Bar friends, A Rock Concert audience

Musician families will:

  • Mostly sit and enjoy concerts/weddings etc. as audience members
  • Have no speaking parts (unless they wish and volunteer for short stints)
  • Be filmed over two or three days providing a possible small family get away/holiday
  • Have a chance to reunite with friends from the music industry and, for younger adult family members, to network.

Royalties will be paid on music which is listed on each scene in the script.
